MY18 RRS SVR

Not sure how this got launched without me receiving the usual 30 eMails from JLR but ...

I have a few questions for those who might be 'in the know'

What have they done to the SVR engine to squeeze out an extra 25 BHP over the MY14 model?

Do you think we can retrofit those awesome looking headlights ? Smile SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh

Regarding the headlights, please be aware, those are changed also in shape, if you look closer you will see the light is now partially framing the grille.
Also the full led operates different from Xenon. The change is possible if you are happy to invest into a new front (wings, bumper, grille, head and foglights) and an amazing technician to adapt the new led to the old wiring.

Maybe worth to keep your car original (looks anyway fantastic). If you want still a small plug and play update, change the taillights, those are working like that.

Regarding the power, sorry, I can’t help.

Best
René

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I suspect that the extra power will be a re-map developed at the factory. The SVR Jaguar also gets the same small increase. It is possibly part of Gerry McGovern’s desire to put the like’s of Overfinch, Kahn et al out of business 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Exclusive to SVR the 5.0 litre Supercharged V8 Petrol engine has been uprated to deliver 575hp and 700Nm of torque. This is enabled by a recalibration of the engine and its management system to increase maximum available boost pressure. Maximum torque is delivered at 3,500-5,000rpm. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Maybe a smaller supercharger pulley and associated ECU tweak.

Yeah- I think the SVR F-type was 575 and the 'project 8' has 600 - all from the same engine.

Love the idea of swapping / upgrading the rear lights Smile SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh

Its a later generation engine in all three cars mentioned so a different animal altogther

As for the lights, again different electrical architecture so not interchangeable and as Renaco said, different shape on the fronts anyway.
