Thats ok then as long as it's not a copy you trying to play try a hard reset disconnect the battery terminals from the battery and hold the positive and negative together away from the terminals you may need to put something metal between them just make sure there away from the battery itself it will reset the system so may work or the dvd may be broken |

Silly question I know but I assume you are loading the CD in the rhs boot compartment and not the satnav unit under the passenger seat. |

As far as I'm aware yes it's a 05 I've on'y recently owned the car , the screen on drivers side opens up to load the disc and can control it off the screen or control panel on drivers side rear door panel |

When you say control - can the rear entertainment be controlled from the same screen as your nav - radio etc ?

My car is 05 and the dvd player (which I believe was factory fit) is in the little hatch on the RHS of the boot.

Mine is also an 05 and others have said the DVD player is hidden in the right hand side panel in the boot. Theres a small door and when you open it you can eject the multi disc dvd cassette.

Maybe mine aren't factory fitted as on the screen in the front I don't have the DVD or rear entertainment option |
