Nice article. I didn't realise they dropped the Disco moniker in the US for the Disco3...

Discovery had a terrible name in the USA, so they couldn't really call it after something that folks associated with poor quality, awful reliablity and very high running costs. The USA got variants that we never got here in the UK - how about the RR 4.6 ltr engine? LR3 gets an engine that isn't available here too - a V6 petrol engine. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

That's interesting... was it the locale-specific changes that made it reliable? The last Disco was never that bad here was it?
