I am not an expert but think the wires are some sort of aerial.

They are not heater elements, I believe, but in fact aerials for TV, DAB Radio etc, roof antenna is for the Sat Nav system.

deffo arial same on Disco's from TD5 up, I thought the same when I got my TD5 felt a right . and I'm hunting for RRS hence me lurking here Yasser my 04 TD5 (the reg is PL0* *** think about it) just doesn't make me smile like it used to. If it ain't broken down it soon will

They are the aerial lines, not heated screen lines, been lije that on many cars for a few years now. Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4 |
