Whilst fitting new engine undertray I noticed what looks like the fins off the bottom of a cooler had seperated from the main cooler. Its in the gap at the front, above the bumper, and it looks like a cooler for the AC. It flaps about as it is broken off on the LHS, but there doesnt appear to be any sign of leaking or staining from any liquids.

I will post a picture up later, but any ideas? Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5

You can hear the knocking at the rear better

you may as well silicon it back in to prevent lots more of it falling out.

And budget for a new one in the future

had mine replaced earlier in the year,mostly paid for by warranty direct,couple quid short of a grand!!!!!!

Just paid £105 for a ac condenser and 5 hours later it was in and recharged so can be done cheaper if your handy with spanner’s

I think the indy charged me about 8 hours,but as I said W.D. paid £700 + of the £1000 bill so wasn't worth getting my hands dirty,so I got most of my years payment back from them in one go.If W.D.hadn't agreed to pay for it then I would have had a go myself.Have you got a warranty?
