The F80 M3 is a good car, I had the M4 before the R8 and loved it, I've only had the R8 since July! I'm as bad as you for changing my cars!

Out of interest (as I try to understand my own issues ) are you changing for any reason in particular?

I had an M4 then changed for the M4 comp pack, it was a brilliant car but just fancied something different, in my opinion there was nothing under £100k that I would rather have than an M4 hence the reason for me jumping to the R8, the R8 is a good car but as I'm using it everyday it does get a bit tiresome to get in and out of as it's so low to the ground and also you can't fit anything in it other than an overnight bag! It's also a pain when parking as you find a nice space with nobody parked next to you and when you come back someone has parked next to you making it a real struggle to get in due to the car being so wide and the doors being so long!

I had an SVR on demo for the weekend and I found myself driving that more than the R8 which made me realise how much I like the SVR!

What are your reasons for changing?

Much worse than yours, I get bored extremely quickly
In 18 months I’ve had (struggling to get this right ); a 911, RRS Diesel (that lasted about 20mins), SvR, Bentley GT, Macan Turbo and currently an M3. Impossible for me to go back much further, the list will just go on and f***ing on.

Going back to the SvR because I really loved it and cocked up changing it, had a black one which wasn’t a great call in hindsight.

I’m hoping I don’t get stung too much on the m3 but do realise this isn’t the best time to be putting a car on the market, just hoping that someone comes along who likes the spec (which is pretty good in fairness)!

Not holding my breath but perhaps my new SvR will stay with me until the new model comes around in 2020’ish, that would be an impressive feat for me!

Haha! That is good skills! Yeah you are right it's not the best time to be selling cars, I'd rather be selling your M3 than my R8 though, yours appeals to much wider market, I had no trouble at all selling both my M4's privately, I have a feeling the R8 is going to be a pain in the ass to shift without taking a massive hit on it!

If my good lady ever found out the amount of money I have lost on cars over the years I think my subsequent injuries would make it impossible for me to ever drive again

Haha! I’m the same although I don’t have a Mrs so nobody to answer too! That’s probably why I haven’t got a Mrs as too much in love with my cars!!
