Those heavy weights under your car at the rear

According to the D3 forum they are for preventing vibration and resonance of the bodywork, makes sense really, they cannot be very technical as they are not connected to anything, they just hang there.

Just what we need though some EXTRA weight to haul around, I mean 2.5 tonnes is clearly not enough!

Oh and has anyone else noticed that your ears pop a lot whilst driving the car as it is so well sealed?

NickP told me he had a football in the boot which exploded one day from the pressure, I also noticed that drinks bottles seem to pressurise slightly. L319 D4 HSE

Note to self: when bringing shopping home strap all deodorants, air fresheners and cans of WD40 to outside of car. Do not put them in the boot, repeat do not put them in the boot!! Laughing
