Hello Everyone, looking for some help please. 2006 Range Rover sport HSE Canadian model. Ok i know this subject has been covered in other threads. i just want some clarification and advice on the rear camera modification. i want to install a back up camera with out a gvif or using a diagnostic tool to configure the system. i have a camera,a fakra cable and basic tools.
i read that if i snip the middle wire on the display plug, the system will go into full size range rover mode. this will make the screen go into back up camera when reverse is selected on the transmission. yes the camera will be powered by the reverse lamp in the tail lamp assy. Thanks for any help and advice in this matter.
