Why do you think I got silver? I had a black Merc before this and I`d forgotten what a pain they were....it was the drying which took the time. Miss 1 water spot and it drove me mad...silver is more forgiving

As you've already said maintance. I change the oil and filter every 5k make sure BOTH drain plugs are removed ! I also let the car tick over after every trip short or long to let the turbos cool down. Nice looking motor by the way.

DSC (Dynamic Stability Control system) filter? DSC is an electric only safety system - maybe you mean the fluid in the viscous coupling or the DR system fluid (Dynamic Response, trick antiroll bars and handling control system). The other thing to need to get changed regularly will be the front suspension bushes. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've had mine about 2 months. Glad I had warranty...... Because the suspension compressor failed first of all. Then after that was fixed, it had a new fault where it kept going into limp mode. The cause was a hairline crack in the driver's side inlet manifold.... £££ to fix but luckily warranty paid up. I did also recently have the odd light and warning come up on the dash. A new brake light switch and new brake light bulbs sorted it.... Love it to bits though.... |
