External Power Plug

Hi guys,

I need to get a power plug installed in the RRS so that I can plug in my portable air compressor to pump up tyres.

In my Disco4, the auto electrician basically just wired the plug with an inline fuse on the main battery, but since the battery is not really accessible on this vehicle, what is the best option?

Where would the best place to fit this - under the hood or in the rear?

Thanks for any advice/suggestion Thumbs Up --

I use the rear passenger socket.

Otherwise you would need a socket either side Rolling with laughter

I simply use one socket under the bonett and the coiled airline supplied with the compressor, easily reaches each corner.

Is there not a pair of jump start terminals under the bonnet on a RRS2? that you could possibly connect a plug/socket to as the battery is in the boot.

Cheers

An Anderson plug is exactly what I want to wire in.

Andy, can one draw power from those jump start terminals? I didn't know that... --
