Kangaroo ????

Hello guy wonder if anyone can help I've been down to south France towing my caravan with my tdv8 2009 (very heavy and had bike on roof of car) and when pulling up a hill and pushing hard on power the the car makes this roar rumble sound and then starts kangarooing badly anyone had this prob or know anything ???

Was it over the weight towing and load limits of your vehicle, as this could effect it?

The fuel filter may be a possible, but not actually heard of a RRS doing this. John

Probably the torque converter clutch. Usually manifests under load up hill in 3rd or 4th gear. Sometimes referred to as the "cattle grid feeling".

How many miles has the vehicle done? Might be worth getting the gearbox flushed but if it's as bad as you say then it might be a new torque converter is on the cards. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
