i have just recently bought a 2005 range rover sport and the satnav is pretty dated on it so i looked at how much an update disc will be from land rover and its quite expensive. Does anyone know where i can get and update disc for my car at a lower price?

If we post links to sites selling non Land Rover discs they are deleted presumably for fear of retribution from Land Rover.

But if you google 'Range Rover Sport 2015 sat nav update' you might find one for £34 which is probably a copy of a Saab/Ford disc that works in the Range Rover Sport 2005-2009 models  2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Hi I think you will find it under the passengers seat. It is a bit awkward to get to. The seat needs to go all the way forward and then reach under the seat from the back and press the reject button  MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

Don't thinks anything changes apart from the map or if it does it is only minor. After the update the system defaults to Belgium as the home country so you have to change it back to the UK.
Oh and the instructions for changing the DVD are in the user manual - seat forward and up as far as it goes and reach in from the front over the top of the trim plate - a torch helps. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Just take the trim plate off and access is easy...
