A simple question hopefully!?! In a few of the ads I have seen for 2010 HSE models they list 'ambient lighting' which I have yet to see covered in any YouTube videos/reviews and certainly not mentioned in all the ads I see.

So is ambient lighting standard on all HSE models and what does it consist of?

Other cars I have looked at over the years have classed footwell lights as ambient lighting which go off when the engine is started!!! Ambient lighting to me is carefully placed lights/lit areas which remain lit during the journey giving a glow around the cabin.

Could anyone confirm the above for me and even better post a pic/vid of what this looks like after dark?

My A/B has small LED's in the front and rear door handle pull's and the front door pockets, not sure if that is what they mean by ambient Lighting, also a small light in the roof console which shines down, you have to put your hand under it to even know it's there. I think they refer to that as "waterfall lighting". I really can't remember if my old HSE had it all though.
They all stay illuminated all the time the light's are on, with or without engine running. Will have to check if they work in conjunction with the panel light dimming rheostat.

All years had that one led for the gear shift. Waterfall light.
