The Permagrin is still there The comfort the shape everytime I see another RRS I know I made the right decision and foremost the reliabilty which is a big plus after listening to Land Rover horror stories including from a mechanic who worked for Land Rover for 12 years. A brilliant car just need to improve the bluetooth which is an absolute joke.(no phonebook and it's not like Land Rover haven't got the technology LR2) RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

Add Long Distance ability - it is a fantastic car to spend a whole day at the wheel or as a passenger - IMHO better than the FFRR that I had before it, as it is quieter and smoother than the TD6 that car had - the TDv8 answers that though and I'd love to try one of those on the same trip.

But you probably don't sit on the cruise at 69 mph like I do You will be whistling along at just below the speed of light. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

69 on the motorway? Isn't that a bit dangerous, Tim?

I don't think the car has even got into 5th,let alone 6th, gear by then so if I went faster and it got into 6th would I burn less fuel ?? Oh I do drive faster, but on a long trip like that you don't gain very much by having the stress of doing battle with CitroenSaxos, astra vans and flash BM 535d's all flashing along at 110 then having to stand on the brakes every 200 metres, makes for a very tiring drive, prefer to sit on the cruise at a sensible speed and relax when doing a 10 hour trip. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Haven't they become standard issue to every Senior Sales Executive (ie rep) in the country, seem to see an awful lot of 535's pounding the motorways these days - even more than you see FFRR's 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Oh yeah - the 5 series in general is a bit of a repmobile, I agree. But heaps more enjoyable than a Vectra anyday

3 tons of metal storming away from the lights and the auto blipping the throttle on the downshift a few miles ahead. |
