After a L320 head unit part number 500510. Possible a 500580 but not 100% sure. I’m after the mid line head unit with the built in amp

correction not site sponsors must have read they were maybe looking at doing something but they had one for sale

There are a number of alternative part numbers for refurbs, depending on your VIN...from the Rimmer Bros part catalogue...

to VIN 6A999999 - VUX500350E
VIN 7A000001 to 7A999999 - LR008597
VIN 8A000001 on - LR011336

These are all single disk units and are replacements for VUX500510

Finding a good reliable replacement head unit is a test of patience if you don’t want to pay the full price for a new or refurbished LR supplied part.
I set up some email alerts in eBay to notify when the correct part numbers went up for sale or auction and got lucky, very lucky. A never fitted refurbished one popped up for a buy it now price of £340.00 and I snapped it up. From a LR supplier it would have cost almost a £grand (six disc version). As it was a LR refurb, it came with new fascia and buttons so from the front, looked brand new and as expected, worked like a charm.
Keep searching and play the waiting game, one will pop up eventually

Thanks for the help. I don’t mind what state the front panel is in as I already have a replacement. I’m looking to fit this in a Discovery 3 rather than a RRS so don’t have a vin to check against. One of the guys from the D3 forum got one for 99p +£10 delivery!! Replacement part numbers would be very helpful. Just after single cd with built in amp and most connector. Will keep watching eBay. Thanks again.
