England 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
Baby seat for 2006 model

Afternoon all,

As the topic head suggests, I was wondering if someone could recommend a baby seat for the rear of a 2006 sport.
I tried my sister in law's one this morning and the seatbelt isn't long enough to wrap around the seat!

Many thanks

Assuming that it has the ISOFix, I'd say go down that route. Getting one with a 'base' if they are small, or one that clips directly into the chassis, will be far more secure than one held in by a seat belt.

We had the Cybex base recently for our little one and the fit against the rake of the seat base was superb, well worth a look.
The older 18m+ seats from Cybex are also very good and we will get one of those next. Anything from Britax is also worthwhile. For booster type seats, we have a Recaro with ISOFix and I have to say that has been very good too.

If you pop to Mothercare they have a fitting service and will spend time getting you the correct seat, well worthwhile IMO. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ah, ok.
In that case, if it's for a little one, <18m, then still look at the Cybex base + Cloud chair, it reclines when out of the car so they can sleep in it. It is quite heavy though.

If older, then the Britax Duo+ (we have this one) can be used with a seat belt and is very stable due to its large base. This recline in the car so they can sleep a little better too.

A worthwhile addition to protect your leather from dents and mess is one of these, I have a few and they are great.

Hope that helps. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
