Clunk from something when rotating from P to D

I've noticed recently that when parked on an incline either nose up or down that when I move the gearstick from P to D there is a clunk. Everything works fine and the handbrake is applied as well as the foot brake. It does seem a small resistance or heavier throw than if it was on flat ground.

Anything I should know do you think?.

Steve.

Its the pawl disengaging from the park lock.

Apply the handbrake with the car in neutral, let the handbrake take the weight of the car and then put it into park Thumbs Up
