So the fix lasted for about two weeks, then the usual creaking noise. Went back to garage and got underneath car whilst up on ramp. All tight and nothing loose. ARB bushes look in good condition with no play. Mechanic thinks that the non LR lower arms possibly replace in Nov last year are cheap and thats where the problem lies. Had the same replaced on my Disco 3 so its not cheap, but will be getting it done, along with upgraded ARB bushes. The lower arms were done before I bought it, and they are def not original LR.

Just had the lower front wishbones replaced with genuine parts. The 'old' parts, possible replace in Nov last year before I bought the car, look really chaep with no markings to say who or where they were manufactured.

Just been to my mechanic with the aim of getting my bushes replaced, I bought the polyurethane ones, however he now believes the creaking is from the wishbones. Facepalm. Noisy black one |

All I can say is that fitting original LR wishbones has solved all my issues. Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5
