As a new owner I am trying to find where I can locate the version of maps currently loaded on the hard drive in my 2013 RRS L320 Black Edition.

Is there a menu somewhere that I have missed with this info in it?

try the menu where it says 'map change', i think that info is there...

Hi Col,

Just checked SATNAV maps using your instructions (which worked perfectly) and found that my maps are dated 30.12.12.

When I purchased the car from the LR Main Dealer 2 weeks ago, part of the deal was that they would update the maps to the latest version! When I collected the car I was told that the workshop had checked the maps and they were already at the latest version

On the way home from collecting the car I noticed that some of the roads I used were not on the map! I suspected that they had not updated the maps

I think that a strongly worded email to the Sales Team is required!

I have just had mine converted to NZ maps so can't check now, but I had updated the maps in 2016 before moving to NZ and sure that map version was v30.15.02 for 2016 so would think latest version would be something like v30.16.02 or 17.02 but it is only a calculated guess.

you should be able to answer all your SatNav issues from this page: http://landrover.navigation.com/cms/page.F...erEMEA/GBP If you have mapping issues, rather than system issues, contact HERE which is the Dutch Company that produces all the maps for JLR and many other brands. Their Customer Service department is excellent and will follow up any mapping issues through to conclusion.

Hi Everyone, I'm a new owner and new to this so please bare with me.

Had to send Dashboard cluster off as speedo didn't light up when was purchcased.

Its back and in, albeit not dimmable anymore , but after having the vehicle in for 10 days (not main dealer, but under warranty) it has lost its licence key for navigation v20090501, which is old anyway. Everything else resettable was back to default but oh the fun of getting it back to how you want it.

Any advice, should I just go and get main dealer upgrade?

its a 59plate facelift TDV6.

If it's a MY10 facelift with hard drive navigation I'm afraid it's Main Dealer only map update, MY12 on was DIY by memory stick.

Hi Col and Evo5man, I have just updated to the latest maps and I can confirm the version is V30.16.04, or thats what HERE sent me. Just for the record on the previous version my home position was correct on the latest version they have it wrong  RRS2 HSE Chile Red
1955 Morris Minor lovingly fitted every nut and bolt

Strange about your home position, perhaps it will sort itself out after a couple of journey's. Recently had mine updated to NZ maps it couldn't work out where I was until I realised I had it set for NSW in OZ.
