2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Should have gone to a Land Rover Experience................... I partially blame LR for these sort of incidents as they claim that the cars they show in adverts are showroom condition BUT they are driven by drivers who have had specialist training for driving in those conditions. I would love to know what settings the driver engaged before setting off across the sands and also if he lowered the tyres presures............. even Auto Terrain Response won't help if you don't disable the DSC or engage low ratio. Hope that the driver has learned a lesson too. I notice that the owner abandoned the car before the rescue services arrived, I hope that he gave them the keys to at least start the engine and put the gearbox to N before they towed it or there might be a large bill for some new transmission parts........... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom

No-one would have made it on this beach, it is a notorious real quicksand and mud beach. The stupid part is that he would have passed signs telling him of the danger. It not only gets vehicles but also people in the very worst bits from time to time.

The clue is in the RNLI having a tracked vehicle nearby!
