Well the alternator belt has to come off to replace the front timing belt, so you may as well renew that. It drives the alt and the air con compressor. The fuel pump is driven by a belt at the rear of the engine, which should really be changed at the same time. It is a bit of a cow to do, because of the limited access. If that belt fails, no damage will ensue, but the engine will definitely stop!
