'Range' not updating on dash after filling up

I filled up last week when the tank was low (down to 11miles range), but the range is now not going back up, it's stuck showing 11miles. The guage is hwoever showing the right amount of fuel.

'anybody here had this before? Fuel sender issue? Confused SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

Can't help you unfortunately, but your vehicle should be covered by LR warranty still, so cheapest solution drop it in to them.

It's always best not to run these motors down that low on fuel, as if it ran out (and not the most accurate of measurement) it can damage several expensive items, and not covered by warranty if you run out of fuel. Whistle John

Same here, had this once when car went it for alloy refurb. Upon collection, I noticed the range had dropped below 10 miles, raised this up with the garage as range was about 60 when I left the car with them but was told they also added £15 of petrol.

On my way home I decided to add £50 of petrol but range didn't increase but gauge nearly half the tank. It took a few stop starts to recalibrate.

Forgot to raise it up with Land Rover but then again, they'll come up with flimsy excuses.

A battery re-set may also cure the problem. Smile John
