I'm just surprised you're doing it so quickly. Most upgrade providers seem to recommend waiting until the car has about 1,000 km on the clock...I'd at least wait for 5,000 km myself just so you get past any early engine problems which you would risk not having covered by warranty if the upgrade is detected.

Not at all VA. The dealer has no liability under the warranty, the manufacturer does. Who does the installation has no bearing on the validity of the warranty. This is a common assumption people make when a dealer proposes the upgrade. The dealer is a licensee...and you can bet the fine print of that license agreement does not accrue any obligation on the manufacturer for the actions of the dealer (save and hold harmless...). I stand corrected! However I'm sure a dealer would probably slip a repair though as long as it wasn't terminal! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
