DVD player

Just bought a 2008 rrs and was just wondering if the DVD player is standard in these models? If not can they be installed ?

If it has genuine screens in the headrests I would imagine it has a DVD

No screens in the head rests, just the screen in the dash

Don't think it was standard, it may have a tv tuner, which was optional extra. You can buy a video interface unit that you link in under the passenger front seat where the sat nav DVD player is. You can then add video inputs such as reversing camera, DVD player, games console, which will come through to the dash screen. I have DVD in the boot and separate screens in the headrests, so it doesn't play on my front screen, that's dedicated to sat nav only.

I think it was part of the DAB and Digital TV option that came with 2010-13 update models.
Mine came with a CD/DVD player as a standard fitment on MY12 model. John

RRS MY12 SDV6 HSE. Sumatra Black/Ebony & Walnut + Dynamic Pack, + Cold Climate Pack + Memory Pack, Digital TV/DVD, Premium Leather, Cornering Lights, Cooler/Fridge Box, & most Options.

Where would I buy the “video interface unit”?

there is a guide with rhem which is not to bad to follow but there is also an installation guide on the disco3 site i think Thumbs Up
