Hi guys i have a strange electrical fault which has just appeared on my 2005 sport 2.7.

The indicators are all flashing as if the alarm is functioning and at the same time all of the door locks are cycling and the radio and info screen are coming on and off at the same time as the indicators also.

Its as if the alarm is trying to somehow function but is not working correctly.

I have looked through the forums and cannot seem to see anyone with a similar problem.

My next question is: Does anyone know anywhere in west lothian or surrounding area that i should take it to?

Brians25, they aren't in West Lothian, but GEMM at Larbert near Falkirk would help and have loads of L332 FFRR /L320RRS/Disco3 and Disco4 experience as well as being pretty handy fixing Freelanders and Defenders with electrical gremlins. There is a Landie indie in Broxburn or Bathgate - Ian Lindsay - but I don't know if he has much experience of RRS electrical woes. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

do you have a sunroof?

Maybe the fusebox behind the glovebox is wet ?

You have a CAN BUS issue, either wiring or ECU related

Thanks guys, booked into an auto spark on thurs and will point him towards a possible can bus issue.

Funnily enough the airbag light has came on today as well.

Looks like the gremlins are multiplying.
