Torque Converter

Hi I'm new and I apologise I know this thread has been covered before, I'm a new owner and I've booked mine in for complete fluid flush/replacement. This is in about a weeks time however and I've ordered some Dr Tranny to tide me over as I have a TC issue when the car warms up. I've a plastic small diameter syringe, my question really is do I have to withdraw the equivalent volume of Dr Tranny from the disconnected hose shown in the thread photos from the ATF, or can I add the Dr Tranny fluid via the hose as soon as it's removed? Or is this not possible?. Many Thanks

A flush won't fix a broken torque converter. Save your money from the flush, and put it towards a new TC

Thanks for the swift reply, my only remaining question I guess is will it damage the gearbox if I continue to run the vehicle with the TC failing? Or can I still use it until I replace the TC?. I don't have full cattle grid syndrome yet, just the rev hunting between 1-2000 and an intermittent surging noise. I cover quite a lot of miles and if necessary I'll rest it up. Thanks again for the help.
