I have got the dealer to make a stealth pack as was not an option on HSE so black wheels, black grille, black vents, black lettering, red Sports badge

Welcome to the forum mate. I think you meant a 67 Reg for delivery in September. Not sure if you are aware (you did say you read the posts here!) but there is an updated version of the RRS due known as the MY18 to be launched later this year. I would think your order is for the current car and not the new model so just wanted to make you aware. The updates will be announced sometime next month.

IIRC 2018MY will start production in August after the factory shutdown in July first deliveries will then be mid-September 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The MY18 order books are not yet open as the changes have not been announced. If you have a confirmed order with a delivery date then I think you have an MY17

Welcome to the forum here it's a friendly place for sure, whether it's an 18 or 17 get it when you want and I'm sure you'll love it either way, there's a lot of us out there with older sports and there will alway be something newer to buy, so enjoy moment!
