Hi and welcome, if by global open you mean open all the windows I'm not sure our cars have this feature; my owners manual doesn't mention it. If you mean just unlock all four doors with one press then you have to press both buttons on the remote for three seconds to enable the feature.

i have the MY2007, i don't have this option either. i think it's just not available |

My 2010 comes with Global opening but for safety reasons the nannies at LR disabled global closing so I spent 700 CDN, bought the IIDTool and enabled it. Now my windows go up and down using the FOB.
