I have recently changed my Freelander2 for a RRS HSE 2006

I am struggling to get the Global opening/close feature to work? Nothing happens if you press and hold fob button for plus 3 seconds?

any help please

an additional question? My car has no mats. I have looked but can not see any location holes for mats to be fixed? Did some models not require any fixing points?

Hi and welcome, if by global open you mean open all the windows I'm not sure our cars have this feature; my owners manual doesn't mention it. If you mean just unlock all four doors with one press then you have to press both buttons on the remote for three seconds to enable the feature.
The anchors for the mats are plastic screw-in things that you will have to source from your stealer (probably at a silly price). But they work well. Hope this helps. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

i have the MY2007, i don't have this option either. i think it's just not available

Nooe def not on 2006 RRS

My 2010 comes with Global opening but for safety reasons the nannies at LR disabled global closing so I spent 700 CDN, bought the IIDTool and enabled it. Now my windows go up and down using the FOB.

Note** This works on my 2010. Not sure if pre 2010 models are equipped with this feature.
