2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Massage seats - worth it?

Hi folks. About to order RRS number 2; an AB SDV8 with a few nice extras.

Would welcome views on whether the Style 7 massage seats are worth having or a complete waste of £1300. We - me and Mrs Cooperman - find that after a couple of hours driving we get the 'numb bum and achey lower back' syndrome that every other car we've ever had inflicts upon you.

Plan is for RRS no. 2 to cruise down to the South of France at least once a year Cool Would the upgraded seats help, or just leave less money in the piggy bank for wine?!

Oh, and I know that if I hang on MY18 may possibly appear; but I quite like a few buttons and am not at all convinced that Velar style touchscreens are what I want. Adaptive LED headlights would be very nice, but I'm not holding on just for those, and a price hike I would guess.

Thanks in advance for thoughts

But gen 2 might be offering much more than just those things! For the sake of a few weeks why not wait and find out for sure?

I've just got rid of a Bentley GT and that had massage seats, a waste of time imo. Novelty at first but too bloody soft, they don't do the job properly!

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The RRS is one of the few cars I've had/driven that doesn't give achy back / numb bum. The other was a Suzuki Swift Sport, I kid you not, which had seats that just seemed to perfectly fit my back. Wouldn't want to drive one down to the south of France though! Motorways at 4.5k+ rpm are a bit noisy...

If you want to order these seats, ask around the local dealers and see if anyone has them in a vehicle on their books. Then arrange a test drive. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That's why my daily drive and Ling distance car is my Volvo. Without doubt the best car seats around. Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

Where are you based, you can try mine if your in te Hampshire area. Don't forget you also get seat articulation and extending seat squabs as well as the massage function so more adjustment means a better fit 👍 MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

2012 3.0 SDV6 Luxury gone, but a great motor

I've got them on my MY17 and there ok, passengers have seemed to like it. Their better seats though as 20 way adjustable so can get the seat exactly how I want it.
