My 07 tdv8 sport has always had an intermittent vibration at 70mph, which I meant to get checked out but hadn't got around to. Driving it now it seems to happen most of the time, and happen from about 60mph plus.

Tyre pressure, wheel balance and alignment are all good, wheels are free from mud in the insides. Is there a common cause of this sort of vibration? The car has almost got 130k on the clock now, it's done a lot of motorway miles in the last few months [/i]

When trying to sort out my vibration ( not like yours as mine happened all the time) others here mentioned front prop balance and prop bearing. Worth a look? Also make sue your wheel bearings are ok before you spend serious money elsewhere Robin

Did you get your vibration sorted?

Yes - it was front diff (once I had the front wheel bearing done!). Noticed it most on the overrun where you could sort of hear it but certainly feel it through the floor.
