I had the clock in dash mod done by Bodsy some time ago. I have just returned from 3 weeks working in Holland. The battery on the RR was totally flat (1.9v 😳). I charged it up and away we went; however my clock in dash now only displays --:--
I have set the clock on the radio (its a 2006 model). Any ideas guys. Thanks

A hard reset with the battery cables will sort this out  RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED
EVERY POSSIBLE SOFTWARE UPDATE INCLUDING - BLUTOOTH UPDATE, SATNAV ON THE MOVE, CLOCK ON DASH, 3 CLICK FLASH, GEARBOX RESET, COMPRESSOR UPDATE AND SUSPENSION LOWERED,
BLACK CODE RE-MAPPED, AUTOBIOGRAPHY'D, NEW EXIDE BATTERY, NEW DENSO ALTERNATOR

I thought it may have just been something within settings, but the hard reset has frightened it. Many thanks mate

The lesson there is if your going away for more than a week, disconnect your battery,

On return, you can connect the battery and the car will be ready for action.

Yes, well I'm going to fit a master switch

I would be interested in what you are going to fit.

I'm not sure they are upto the job on the RRS.


Other options are a CTEK 5 charger if you have a mains supply

or large solar charger

Thanks for this topic Gary, I have exactly the same issue. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.
