I have just brought a RRS and on the previous service invoice it shows as castrol edge 5w30 oil used, need to top the oil and the only castrol 5w30 oil I can find is the new titanium version, does this replace the standard edge and can they be mixed? Thanks for your help.

Edge should still be available, it was used on my last oil change at LR services. John

RRS MY12 SDV6 HSE. Sumatra Black/Ebony & Walnut + Dynamic Pack, + Cold Climate Pack + Memory Pack, Digital TV/DVD, Premium Leather, Cornering Lights, Cooler/Fridge Box, & most Options.

Any of these oils will do as they meet the required spec

Mobil Super 3000 Formula C1 5w30
MOTUL 5W30 ECO CLEAN
Comma Ecolife 5W30
Shell Helix Diesel Ultra Engine Oil 5W30
Castrol EDGE Professional 5W-30

The spec they need to meet is M2C934-B

Also worth noting that edge and edge pro meet different specs I believe, so its the pro you need.

Since it's a 2007, it probably has no DPF. if so, you do not need a A1/B1 C1 oil Ford MC 934B specs.

You'sd better go with a 5W30 Ford 913 C or 913 D. That is a sronger and better oil (A5/B5) RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Lux
