Servicing - should I stay with my full LR service history??

After some advice on servicing,

I have a 2011 plate HSE, 53k on the clock with a full LR service history. I've had the it just under 2 years, and it's due for its next service (B service) May, I am also going to extend my warranty with LR.

I have been quoted £751 for this B service, now my question is-

Is it worth me sticking with a main dealer for servicing?
Or use a good independent garage?
If I do use an independent garage, will this in anyway effect my warranty??
Can anyone recommend a good independent near Chelmsford in Essex?

When my RRS was in recently for some warranty work, I was told if the problems wasn't covered by the warranty, LR would normally offer a 'good will gesture' of up the 50% as I have a full LR service history

Thanks in advance for your help

John

They offer significantly cheaper fixed price servicing on the disco, which has the same underpinnings. I'd want them to get much nearer that price, or go to an independent - who will probably do a better job anyway.

I wouldn't put my life on that. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi,
I had my year 6 service a few months back at a main dealer and it was less than £450 although I did not have the pollen filter changed Whistle

and I will Not be renewing my L/R Approved warranty (car care) got to speak again to W/D Rolling Eyes

you can use Ind and warranty still good but "any" good will gesture Question

depends how long You are going to keep it.

Thumbs Up

Me, I would stay with a main dealer. Put yourself in the buyers shoes, what would you go for, Full main dealer warranty with genuine parts, or claimed service history by Arthur Daily & Co. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
