fog lights are very basic wiring.

If both aren't working, check fuse/link 2 under the bonnet. 30A
This is one of the big fuses.


You need the ignition on for them to work.
And when on you get green and orange lights on in the speedo
So look out for this when pulling the switch, to see if they work briefly before a fuse blows

spot on mate ! there is a pink 30A fuse link blown...i ordered a couple of spares on ebay and just waiting for them to arrive.

if the fuse link blows straight away , i will check the front fog cables for damage / wear and tear .

btw , im not seeing the green and orange lights on the speedo at all...this might change when i try on eof the repalcment fuse links.

the dash lights won't work until the new fuse is fitted.

I would try a careful procedure.


1. Replace fuse.
2, visibly check fuse through the clear window to see if the link is still there.
3. turn ignition on so the dash warning lights are on
4, visibly check fuse through the clear window to see if the link is still there.
5. turn side lights on.
6. While looking at the speedo carefully pull the headlight switch out ONE notch and see if the green light comes on and stays on.
7, see if front fogs are on.
8. While looking at the speedo carefully pull the headlight switch out another notch and see if the orange light comes on too and stays on. Check rear lights are on.
