Canada 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Thanks guys, exactly what I needed. I've jacked up my cars many times but never on an incline and never one so heavy so I just wanted a little reassurance. GREAT FORUM!!!! Thumbs Up

One thing I will add if I may?
I didn't use a trolley jack as I had read a lot of them don't reach high enough and the standard scissor jack is next to useless if not downright dangerous!
I bought a 3T bottle jack which is small enough to carry around in the boot tool tray (for future use if needed) and raised the car to Offload height. I put the bottle jack on top of a 2 ft piece of 4x2 timber to spread the load across the floor and also used a machined billet "cup" with a protruding lug (bought on eBay for about £15) that sits in the chassis jacking hole and yet gives enough of a footprint for the small bottle jack top to feel secure.

Hope that helps and good luck!

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Lol.... Just need to adjust the EPB... All the hard work is done but I put it in park instead of neutral so no Parking brake adjustment for foolish ol' me. I'll take a stab at it soon. Thanks for all the help, you guys rock!

If all you are doing is "adjusting" the parking brake then there is no reason that I can see why you can't get the adjuster hole lined up and then put it in park before jacking it up (although might be difficult to see where the hole is with the wheels on). Even in park I think you can still turn the wheels about a quarter turn.
Might make you feel better!
Good luck anyway and please report back and let us know how it went/what you did. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

No can-do Scrumpy, the discs don't spin far enough to get to the adjuster wheel I'll have to take the whole thing off and do it. Not a huge deal when you have access to air tools Wink
