Egr's

Wow !! Just blanked both my egr's off on the motor and the difference is unbelievable, so much more responsive, feels like it's been mapped. Highly recommended it to any one. Fiddly job but we'll worth it

They could well of been faulty as sometimes when cold there was no power etc when pulling off for around 5 or 6 seconds which was bad.

If you blank perfectly good EGRs there will be no performance difference.

If you noticed a difference then your EGRs were faulty and locking open. 07MY RRS TDV6

As above Thumbs Up

The early cars don't display a dash warning, so most owners don't know when the EGRs have packed up, and they get used to a gradual loss in performance

Oh I see, so in that case I'd say mine was definitely faulty then because as I said before not all the time but sometimes there was no power for a good 5 seconds when pulling out, didn't notice this for the first 3 weeks of ownership but last week it was really bad
