Hi, Can anyone tell me how important it is to change the gearbox oil, by which i mean Landrover say 150,000 or ten years,mine is just coming up to 100,000 But is also coming up to 11years old.
Also my local lr garage has advised me to have a modified zf sump on it because you cant get all the oil out, but at £512.00 to do this i'm very reluctant.

There's an oil change called Mega flush lot cheaper I believe.

Bristol Transmissions do it but there might be others more local....not sure about Cornwall area
It's like a dialysis process as opposed to a simple oil drop and fill...if that makes sense.
