Service Warning Indication Recall

Had my SVR 1st service end of April and about 3 weeks ago the Service Warning came up on the dash, even though it hadn't come up before the service. I assumed they had not reset it so took it in and it was reset while I waited, about 1/2 an hour.
It has come up on the dash again so contacted the dealership and they told me it's on a Warranty Recall and requires some software download and new oil and filter. I have not had any notification about this and would not have known unless I had called them Shocked
If some of you don't know just thought I'd put it out there just in case. My car is a 2016 and I know it's an SVR but this could relate to all the RRS's of this year. I hope this helps. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Post 2015MY Evoques (diesels and petrols) have the same issue - it is to do with an oil quality sensor apparrantly. It is a TSB for Evoque, not a recall so it appears that some cars suffer the problem and others don't so you only get the fix if you have the problem or they will do it at the next service if you don't get the problem in use. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sumatra Black

There was an instrument panel software update. Mine was done a few weeks ago in an attempt to fix the InControl Remote issue that insists my washer fluid is low.

Didn't help.

Yes mine did the same thing with the wrench icon and service required would pop up maybe every 5th start. Had the instrument panel update recently while in and haven't seen it since. 2016 SCV8 Dynamic - Firenze Red/Pimento

This problem is caused by premature diesel dilution of the engine oil. It is best not to ignore it. Download the Service Compliance Notification JLRP00100.pdf on this web page so you will know how to deal with any potentially misleading comments made by service personnel. It has been discussed at length on DS and Evoque forums and has just been reported by Discovery L462 owners.

Not on an SVR it isn't.

I asked about this a few weeks go and posted that information - surprised there were no replies.
