2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black
HELP : Customizing my new RRS HSE

Hello everyone,

I am a new member here and registered here just yesterday; have just received my new Range Rover Sport 4.4 HSE.

I'd like to add accessories to it now and so far this is what it looks like:

Exterior: Java Black
Interior: Ivory Leather / Aspen Carpets - Luxury Interior Package

Alloys: Came with 20" 10-spoke!
Others: SatNav, CD, etc etc the works!

Now the following is what I have already done with it:

- Changed Front Grill and side Vents from grey HSE ones to the SC duotone ones.
- Changed wheels with 20" Stormer alloys (with black/silver logo caps)
- Changed Land Rover badges in front grill and boot lid from green-gold to the silver-black.
- Changed HSE badge with Supercharged.
- Privacy glass, black tinted windows, all, except the front of course.

On order are the following, which should be fitted by next week:

- Prject Kahn quad-pipe sports exhaust.
- Chrome *illuminated* door entry sills for all four doors.
- Range Rover decal sticker to cover the third tail break light, so when break is applied instead of a red strip the words Range Rover will lit up in the strip.

What I can't decide is the following, and pls. vote keeping in mind with the rest of the stuff which should come and which should stay out ...

- Side steps
- Side body mouldings
- Front and rear light guards
- Mudflaps

Will appreciate sorting the final bits ... I personally think since it's all black now, with tinted windows, and stormers, and specially with Kahn exhausts, the black light guards will look nice ... can't decide on the side step (I think it will add unneccessary silver and heavy kind of look) and same for mudflaps). As for the side mouldings, that's more driven by the need to save it from people banging their doors in my car in the narrow parking lots.

What say thou? AG

It all sounds v nice. Do you have some pictures.

Dont think the side steps work with the Java black, looks good on the silver. MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Personally I think the decal for the rear brake light will be worthless - the Range Rover lettering will be so small that by the time the driver of the following car can read it he will have driven into the back of you..................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Too many dollars and not enough sense in a nutshell. Why not just role your weed with money too while you are at it. Why wouldn't you just by a Supercharged version instead of blowing dough like you did on retrofitting? Why not just chrome the frame while you are at it and put 36" rims on it, sure it will work great in the sand.

Touchy, touchy.......its the season of good will to your fellow man!

However, I must admit that sticking on a supercharged badge isn't really playing the game!

Everybody knows that diesel is better..........
