When I worked there as a contractor a few years ago they opened the back of my transit van up every time I went home. There were a few thefts of vehicles at the time using a Defender to ram the barrier followed by a few stolen vehicles. They then had huge bollards fitted that come out of the ground to stop them.

Sounds like a typical Mail story. If you reckon each engine is worth say £5000 then thats 600 engines on one HGV lorry. Must be one hell of a big truck. And did they really load a HGV with all those engines in 360 secs? |

By all accounts the thieves had all the necessary paperwork for entering and exiting the site. Also these trailers would have already been loaded so hitching up and pulling out of there would have taken 10 minutes tops. Someone is indeed in for a . The only thing I find quite surprising is that one trailer was taken and they returned later in the day and took another one WTF oh dear oh dear !!!!!!!! Not even at night |

Watch out for a selection of "new and unused" Land Rover engines appearing on e-Bay or maybe they are on their way to West Africa,India/Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia to put replacement engines in all the stolen RRS's and Disco3's that have ended up out there and suffered engine failure.............. will have to look out for cargo manifests for container loads of new engines in our cargoes over the next few months........ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
