I'd keep Forward Alert in mind as another feature that's not perfect. Mine gives an ample early warning of some cars while other cars may as well be invisible. I'm still collecting my thoughts on whether some cars have an arse that's more reflective to radar and if others are in a stealth mode! Apologies in advance to Aberdeen drivers if they are rear ended while testing is ongoing.

Mine keeps telling me the smart key is no longer in the vehicle. |

Not had the 'not in park' warning at all but agree on the temperamental forward alert. Also the adaptive cruise started alarmingly accelerating towards a car in front on a slight bend as if it didn't see it! I think the sensor isn't as good as my Golf R which was faultless, hence why they are seemingly doubling up on them in the Velar and presumably the RRS facelift. |

Adaptive Cruise, Forward Alert and Brake Assist all rely on the same radar sensor. Based on the very variable results of my live testing of Forward Alert I'd definately not trust it to maintain a steady distance in cruise!
