Ive spotted a my17 at local LR dealers,it a HSE Dynamic ex demo in corris with stealth pack & looks really nice but I also like my my14 AB in fuji with only 31k on clock & only use at weekends.Dealer is calling today with price on mine which Ive only had 8 month & paid 61k for.

Dealer hasn't been back to me yet,,they probably only want to give me about 52k for mine,,I told them not to call if they are going to insult me.

Looks nice, although I've insufficient knowledge of the market to know if it's a good deal. I'd go for it if you wouldn't miss any important AB features this car hasn't got. However, do you really need to trade up when you do so few miles and have a relatively recent model? |

Andy, I would say that's a wee bit expensive for an ex-demo car. Normally you will get at least £9,000 of the list price of the car. I don't believe the list price for an HSE Dynamic id £78,000 +. Don't forget the dealer will give YOU nothing for the options you have specced on your car, so why should you pay full price for the extras that have been specced???

I did mention the extras to the dealer & he said they don't add them on mine as it's used,,my reply was well knock 3k off the price of yours seeing as that is also used,,I got no reply from him..it's all one sided when the dealers are selling. To be honest I'm keeping my AB as I like to use the adaptive cruise along with the queue assist etc which the hse dynamic hasn't got standard. Also in the summer I love the climate seats & heated steering wheel in winter.

Just had dealer on fone,,sorry I meant STEALER, ,& just offered me 52k for a car I paid 61k for 8 months ago,,they are wanting 17k & mine ,,they have same car as mine up for 59k,(no wonder they've just had a 3 million pound showroom built,,at least Dick Turpin wore a mask.).

You don't need to change so don't. It's a mug's game and the only beneficiary is the dealership. Sod 'em! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Your right RRSTDV8,,I'll keep my AB as its a better spec than the hse,it would have been ok if I was giving 10k & mine,,at least when I come to sell mine in 2-3 years it will be worth a lot more than a new hse being a AB with all the extras as standard.
