Help! Argghh! Dreaded turbo fail??

Big Cry
Hello All,
I think I may have the dreaded turbo fail?!
I noticed I had power loss whilst driving, no bang though, just no umph at all and noticed it was slowing down on an incline. No warning lights at all. Car appears fine on idle. It then started to clatter a bit and I get plumes of white smoke from the off side exhaust. I had just arrived in Whitby (all hills ffs!) for a few days and now the car has sat for a couple of hours there is a small pool of oil just in front of the off side front wheel!
After looking on here seems as if this is a turbo fail? I would be grateful of any advice.

To add to my woes I'm nearly 200 miles from home in very hilly North Yorkshire, Im assuming I can't drive it home as is?
Is the clattering likely to be bits of the turbo ruining the engine? It doesn't clatter and smoke all the time btw
Does anyone know of a reliable garage in or near Whitby? Or a cheap recovery?

Or failing that can someone come and steal it and burn it so I can claim the insurance?! (Joking!! ....not joking! Big Cry Big Cry Censored

I'd be careful even considering starting the engine as it's not uncommon for them to seize and it's even possible that it could run on its own oil where it'd rev its tits off until it runs out of oil and the implode ( some shocking vids on YouTube of this as an example ) hopefully there is no lasting damage already good luck with it Thumbs Up Clickadeeclick
