I suspect MY18 might be the "facelift", which will be very minimal on L494, as indeed it was for the Evoque.

Quite a lot of detail changes ion the Jag range, too, for MY18. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

The car you say your friend has seen sounds a lot like a Velar. Do you think it was a Velar or it was a MY18 RRS.

I have a 2014 RRS and am currently thinking of ordering a new one. If some of the Velar changes are likely to be incorporated into the MY18 then I will hold off for a few months, but it is hard to know at the moment.

I have spoken to my dealer and plan to order a MY18 RRS.

The Velar looks absolutely lovely but we need the seven seat option.

Hopefully the changes make the RRS more similar.

We test drove the D5, it was just too slow and rolled too much in corners.

When will it be on sale/on the road?

Will most likely be launched as a MY2018 as well as the facelifted L405. Both with LED matrix headlights, as per the Discovery 5.
