Hi all, my new battery is being delivered today. Not particularly techie-minded, so just wanted to check if there was any recommendations for changing the battery out. For example, I've heard some people connect the new battery in parallel before removing the old...(?)

connecting in parallel when you don't have your radio code.

RRS don't have such issues

Hi,
make sure the New battery is fully charged first
disconnect old one and lift out
get someone else to hold the battery leads out of the way while you lower the new battery in (its their fingers that get sqwished that way )
connect back up and all good

My approach was to go to tyre and battery shop with bag of donuts, give donuts to fitter, chat to fitter while he fits battery, pay boss man.

But, make sure car computer has shut down before disconnecting the old battery.
Handbrake light will go out on dash when shutdown.
There is a small placard note on the body near the battery telling you to do this on mine.
