2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
New owner - The project Kahn Cars

Hi Everyone,

I am 2 weeks away from picking up my new RRS and I have to confess that I want to buy a few things of Kahn but I see mixed views on their cars??

What exactly does everyone dislike about them?

I have planned to buy the quad exhaust this week and intended to get a set of 22" wheels for the better weather.

Also, if anyone would be interested in a mint M3 CSL, I have to say goodbye to it. Sad

Any advice is welcome.

Andy

I agree with Jay. I think the biggest problem for me with Kahn is that they supply all marques - having seen RSC's on a Peugoet 306 they tend to loose the appeal

Thanks guys for ur input.

I think its a lot to do with good photography on the Kahn website too.

Personally I like the Kahn exhaust more but I do agree that the wheels pop up everywhere so I will continue to look out for more wheels.

Also, I got a price for a set of smoked side repeaters, anyone want to guess how much????

I said it was a joke but the guy got all upset Crying or Very sad told me they put loads of time into them. I think I'll do them myself, thanks very much. Oh and the rear lights, £599. Went to the local bodyshop with a picture of the Kahn part smaoked rear clusters, Next day picked mine up and they are identical, all lacquered and polished. £100 done.

I have to say I apporached Kahn one time and found them to be very arrogant and not very customer service orientated.
I also contacted them one time over photography and I was passed from person to person with a different story everytime. They also have in posession a rather costly photo portfolio of mine.

I personally like Overfinch - they're a lot friendlier, customer service I've found them to be 10x better. I like they're designs and they're specific to Range Rover as Alpina is to BMW.
Just my 2 pence

Mike

Mike, I agree.

What really annoyed me was the fact that I was quoted over the phone for the repeaters @£99 and when I went back via email, £199. When I asked for an explanation they said I would get them for £99 if I spent £2000 on the other items, but this was not discussed in the first call. I think they should at least get their bull**it prices correct between themselves before they advise a customer.
