Gears don't change up in cold | |
Just a quick question.
Is it normal to not be able to put the gear up above fifth gear when very cold, or even just -2c even though revs are well above 2000rpm, it shows it's in gear selected, say 7th using flapper paddles, but is still in 4th. Gear.
Once engine is warm it does drop into correct gear, but not just noticed this before.

I would say normal, mine does the same and wants to hold gears longer until it has abit more heat on the temp gauge 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
