Wind noise from loose window

Driving down to Somerset to pick up some winter wheels and noticed that wind noise by my right ear was getting gradually more significant. Initially thought it was door misfitting as discussed elsewhere on this forum but as it got worse realised that the window had not shut properly. Further investigation revealed that I could move the window up and down about 1cm with my hands so that was why it wasn't fully closing.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it an easy fix? Due for a service a week Monday so could ask the indie to have a look unless there's a simple solution... Robin

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

My passenger side front window did that recently. I was also going in for a service so added it to the list to be done. Before it went in, however, it sorted itself out and closed properly. I mentioned it to the garage and he suggested something about calibration issues. All a bit odd and never got to the bottom of it other than that. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The rear passenger window on my 2015 had exhibited the same problem. Took it back to the dealer & they fixed it with a recalibration. I'd assumed it would have been a mechanical fix, but I was wrong. current 2015 hse dynamic, grey.

Cheers guys. Thumbs Up That's really strange as I'd swear it was mechanical. The fact that I can physically move the glass about half an inch up and down.

Oh well, indie can have a go at it. In for a penny..... Big Cry Robin
