My 2015 RRS is going to be needing a 24 month service very soon. What kind of price should I be aiming for when haggling with the dealer?

Mine has no charge for the first 5 years of servicing..........

You or a previous owner didn't take out the optional service plan when the car was purchased? If the car is an approved used and the 1st owner took out a service plan then it is transferable to the subsequent owners ................. when I recently booked my car in for it's 2nd service (well below the recommended miles) in April the dealer doing the service is not the supplying dealership and the receptionist asked for my registration and said to me over the phone "your car has a service plan, there will be no charge" I am the first owner of the car and I paid the extra so I assume that service plan is automatically checked / highlighted in the LR Service booking computer as her answer was unprompted. If you are not the original owner worth checking that the car doesn't have a service plan. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've been considering using a specialist. Had nothing but hassle with main dealers with other cars.

Would there be any issues with warranty and/or reselling possibly back to a dealer?

Had my13 black edition serviced by specialist and when I sold it to a main dealer they couldnt care less where it was serviced just so long as it was serviced and stamped. MY18 SCV8 Satin flux silver

Problem is now that the service records at LR Dealers are 100% electronic how does the specialist update the records in LR's files? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

He can't Tim,,when we px'ed our 2012 se for the evoque the dealer only wanted to see the service was upto date so when I serviced it I put a invoice in with paper work detailing what I had done oil/filter change etc & he was happy with that.Infact I'm servicing the evoque this week it's only done 2.5k in 12 month.it didn't make any difference to the px price,he just wanted to see it had been serviced.
