I've also resurrected that thread by asking the OP what the end result was as I am sure a few people would like to know if he tried to claim on the perforation warranty and if he got a decent result. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Mines just turned 8 years old so I have no chance of claiming. But I am going to either paint or just put several coats of sealant on it as added protection before I fit it to the car. |

My advise is just protect it with something, since studded screws are easy to break, I know trust me (two out of four which I tried to loose broken so I gave up). I used Hammerite after removing rust as much as possible, with two descent coats. It seems to work for now. |
